Why Choose Us? We partner with small-scale Japanese farmers to bring you authentic, sustainable teas crafted with intentionality, care, and tradition. All our teas come direct from farmers in Japan who employ organic growing methods both without the use of pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. As a standard we only source teas that are JAS certified.

For June and July, we feature teas grown by Mr. Henta, whose Kirishima farms we had the pleasure of visiting this June. We thank him for his time, generosity, and openness in speaking with us. Upon touring his farms he shared with us that the mountainside next to his farm had been attacked by a wild boar, but the tea farm remained unscathed.
